Topics covered on course :

• Cantilevered crane loading platforms
• Cantilevered and spurred scaffolds
• Barrow ramps and sloping platforms
• Scaffolds associated with perimeter safety screens and shutters
• Mast climbers

Suitability :
For persons over the age of 18. Students must also be free of any physical or medical condition that may affect the safe undertaking of Intermediate Scaffolding, and speak the english language to a level that would ensure safe operation in an Australian workplace.

Prerequisites :

• Prerequisite unit of competency: UEPOPS215A Perform basic scaffolding
• Prerequisite High Risk Work Licence: You must hold a current Basic Scaffolding (SB) licence before commencing a course in Intermediate Scaffolding

Outcome :

• Statement of Attainment for the nationally recognised unit of competency UEPOPS216A Perform intermediate scaffolding
• High Risk Work Licence class SI: Intermediate Scaffolding, issued by WorkSafe (WA)
