- Fibre Slings (including knots, bends & hitches, whipping & splicing, and understanding natural & synthetic fibres and safe usage)
- Flexible Steel Wire Rope
- Chains
- Factors Effecting Safe Working Load (SWL)
- Accessories (shackles, eyebolts, inspection)
- Slinging & Handling Loads
- Cranes (including outriggers, use of charts, hazards and communications)
- Load Assessment

Suitability :
For persons over the age of 18. Students must also be free of any physical or medical condition that may affect the safe undertaking of Dogging work, and speak the english language to a level that would ensure safe operation in an Australian workplace.
Prerequisites :
- Prerequisite unit of competency: None
- Prerequisite High Risk Work Licence: None
Outcome :
- Statement of Attainment for the nationally recognised unit of competency RIIHAN208A Perform dogging
- High Risk Work Licence class DG: Dogging, issued by WorkSafe (WA)
